COCONUT TREE

Coconut plant is known as a tree that has many uses. Coconut leaves, for example, can be used to make woven mats, woven baskets and roof. This plant is referred to as the “tree of life” in many countries. Its height can reach fifteen to thirty yards on the plantation. The top part of the stem which is crowned with a leaf-shaped bristles are divided into sheets. The length of the leave can reach 7 meters containing 250 sheets.

Male and female flowers of coconut tree grow on the same plant with flowering branches. The color of the flower is pale yellow with a length of approximately 1 cm.

The fruit is oval. It has green, light orange or ivory colors. Below the crust is a layer of thick fibers that are used for scouring. The next layer is the shell of the seed. The shell can be used to make charcoal. After that thick shell, there is a white flesh and liquid inside it. The white flesh can be eaten or dried. it can also be made onto oil.
